DALLAS, TX - October 1, 2008 - Paladin Consulting backs event to benefit up to 10 worthy charity organizations and strengthen their capabilities in relief efforts.

Director of Recruiting Douglas Roark today announced that Paladin Consulting is joining forces with Microsoft Corporation, Dallas ASP .Net user group and others by committing as a Gold Level sponsor of the upcoming Charity Challenge Weekend scheduled for January 16-18, 2009.

The Charity Challenge will bring together highly talented teams of web engineers who will donate their time and capabilities to develop much needed web-based tools for selected worthy charities over a three day massive flurry of technical projects.

Director Roark described this modern day “geek help meet” as being in many ways similar to and old fashion “barn raising”. He said “it’s just that this event is using computers, software and high caliber engineers instead of saws, logs and prairie farmers to help neighbors during times of distress”.
